Schulich School of Engineering

The Schulich School of Engineering project presented intriguing design challenges for our team, not least being the need to create shade and reduce heat for a collaborative south-facing space for the engineering students that incorporated 150×50 feet of glass. Our design incorporated wiring for each of the glass panels, which were then joined to trunk lines and power cables. The resulting structure is one of the flagship, eye-catching buildings on the University of Calgary campus.
